Buyer Guarantee

At Riticket, we are building the ultimate community for real fans. We want you to buy tickets on our platform with complete peace of mind, which is why purchases made on Riticket are backed by our Buyer Guarantee Policy.

1. The Riticket Promise

Subject to the validation conditions outlined in Section 2 of this policy, Riticket guarantees that:

  • Your ticket order will be delivered by the Seller in time for the event.
  • The ticket order you receive will satisfy your expectation for what you purchased. If any of the above conditions are unmet, and you have strictly adhered to this policy, Riticket will issue a full refund of the total amount you paid.

2. Buyer's Obligations

To qualify for a refund or remedy under the Buyer Guarantee, you must actively protect your transaction by fulfilling the following operational guardrails:

  • In-App Confirmation: Upon receiving your ticket order, you can review ticket details and indicate agreement upon confirmation that the ticket(s) were delivered to your satisfaction. Confirmation of receiving the ticket order constitutes acceptance of the ticket as-is, notwithstanding any inconsistency with the Seller's listing and the actual ticket. It is your responsibility as the Buyer to verify the most current information for an event from the event organizer and contact the organizer for any changes. Riticket is not responsible for event changes and thus no refunds or credits will be issued outside the terms explicitly outlined in this policy.
  • Timely Reporting: You must inspect your delivered ticket order immediately upon receipt. If the tickets are invalid, incorrect, or missing, you must submit an official dispute with Riticket Customer Support within 48 hours of the order delivery date, or at least 2 hours prior to the event's scheduled start time, whichever is sooner.
  • No Premature Confirmation: If you manually confirm receipt of your ticket order inside the application before reviewing and validating that the tickets with the primary ticketing provider (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, Vivid Seats) are accurate, you accept the ticket order as-is and waive your right to a claim under this Buyer Guarantee.
  • Platform Exclusivity: This Buyer Guarantee is void if any portion of the transaction, negotiation, communication or payment occurred outside of the official Riticket platform except for the order fulfillment (i.e. ticket transfer) completed via an external provider’s website or application.

3. Event Cancellations, Postponements & Rescheduling

Your purchase protection varies depending on the official status changes declared by the event organizer or venue:

3.1 Event Cancellation

If an event is officially canceled by the organizer and not rescheduled or postponed, the transaction will be nullified.

  • Refund Eligibility: You will receive a full refund of the total amount you paid back to your original payment method.
  • Ticket Return: To receive a refund, you must comply with Riticket’s instructions to return or invalidate the ticket order, if applicable, within the timeframe specified by our Support Team.
  • Refund Timing: Once refunds are processed, funds may take up to 10 business days to reflect on your statement depending on your banking institution.

3.2 Event Postponement or Rescheduling

If an event is postponed, delayed or rescheduled:

  • Ticket Validity: Your purchased tickets should remain valid for the newly scheduled date. Generally, primary issuers do not require new tickets or links for rescheduled events, but it is the Buyer’s responsibility to inform Riticket if there is an issue with the ticket(s) received.
  • No Automatic Refunds: Riticket does not provide refunds, credits, cancellations, or exchanges for postponed or rescheduled events.
  • Your Options: If you cannot attend the new date, you retain full rights to list and sell your ticket(s) on the Riticket platform in compliance with our no-markup pricing policy as long as the primary ticket provider allows you to sell and transfer the ticket(s).

4. Limitations and Exclusions

This Buyer Guarantee does not cover:

  • Denied entry to a venue due to Buyer misconduct, late arrival, dress code violations, or non-compliance with venue health/safety protocols.
  • Buyer remorse or personal schedule conflicts that arise after a successful transaction.
  • Forged receipts provided by the Seller during their listing phase; while the Seller will be banned and penalized under our standard Terms, the Buyer's sole remedy remains a direct transaction refund under this policy, with no supplementary or consequential damages awarded.

5. Filing a Claim

To activate a claim under this Buyer Guarantee, you must contact our Support Team using the contact form in the Riticket application or at help@riticket.com with the email address linked to your account and details or evidence of the claim. All claims are investigated and resolved at the sole, final discretion of Riticket.
